You sneak into my life silently without me knowing.
You were pure and beautiful.
Your laughter and happiness is like oxygen.
An element that I can't seem to live without.
Despite climate changes and the messy storms,
I still gasp to breathe you in and every time I don't,
I feel like I'm running out of breath.
It's like my body is telling me that I have insufficient amount of you to keep me oxygenated.
However, time is proving that instead of inhaling oxygen,
I'm breathing in toxic gases that feels like oxygen.
